Fairbridge Programme

An ongoing monthly course, delivered at the Prince's Trust Newcastle Centre.

Our Fairbridge programme for 16 to 25 year olds offers you a mix of group activities and one-to-one support to develop the skills and confidence you need to move forward. Starting with a five-day Access course, you’ll get the chance to do outdoor adventurous activities, as well as take part in a residential trip. Once the Access course is complete, you can choose from lots of different activities from sports to drama and photography to cooking. We’ll work with you to help reach your goals.

Get into Contact Centre with the Launch Group.
Taster Day 12th September, Course dates 18th to 29th September. For 16 to 25 year olds who are unemployed not in full time education or training.

Meet new people and learn new and develop skills by professional. We will also support you to develop your employability skills and job opportunities with Teleperformance and Sitel. Please see attached flyer for further details.

Get into Retail with Marks and Spencer
Taster day 19th September, Course date 25th September to 19th October. For 16 to 25 year olds who are unemployed not in full time education or training.

Meet new people and learn new skills as well as gaining work experience in the retail environment with M&S. We will also support you to develop your employability skills. Please see attached flyer for further details.

Get Started with Theatre
Taster Day 31st October, Course Dates 6-10th November. For 16 to 25 year olds who are unemployed not in full time education or training.

Meet new people, improve and gain skills by working on a group challenge, to create and perform a piece of drama/ theatre and gain a bronze arts award in the process.

Get Started with Apps
Taster Day 13th October, Course Dates15-18th October. For 16 to 25 year olds who are unemployed not in full time education or training.

Meet new people, improve and gain skills by working with others towards a challenge. You will develop and code an app with professional support. No experience or qualifications needed.

Enterprise Programme.
Ongoing courses are run frequently across Newcastle, Northumberland, Durham and Sunderland

The Enterprise programme support 18 to 30 year olds to turn big ideas in to a business reality. From training and mentoring support to funding and resources, we’re with you every step of the way. Further information can be found here here.

Team Programme.
Courses are run from various locations locally starting in September. For 16 to 25 year olds

The Team programme is a 12-week personal development programme to gain new skills, take a qualification and meet new people through taking on a group community project, engaging in a residential, developing English and Math’s skills and complete 2 weeks works experience.

Development Awards.
For Young people between 14 to 25 year olds who are underachieving, unemployed not in full time education or training.

The Development Awards Programme offers cash awards for young people who are struggling to access education, work or training due to a lack of funds. Please see attached flyer for further details.
