Funding to support disadvantaged young people - Ironmongers Company

The Ironmongers Company is inviting registered charities that work with disadvantaged children under the age of 25 to apply to its grants programme for funding of up to £10,000. The company is particularly interested in supporting projects that provide opportunities to disadvantaged children to fulfil their potential and educational activities that develop learning, motivation and skills. Projects could, for example, support:

  • Special educational needs
  • Address behavioral problems or promote citizenship
  • Parenting or life skills.

Preference will be given to projects piloting new approaches where the outcomes will be disseminated to a wider audience.

Click here to apply and to find out more; applications must be received by the 31 July 2014. Grants are available given across the UK with preference given to projects in inner London.
