New database supports demonstrating value to funders

The Cabinet Office has published a "unit cost database" which brings together over 600 cost estimates, covering crime, education and skills, employment and economy, fire, health, housing and social services. This can help you demonstrate the financial value of what you do to funders or public bodies, such as  the cost of things like someone attending A+E, going to court, or staying in residential care for a week.

This can be used as evidence of savings to public funds if you can demonstrate that your service can prevent these things happening.
