The Big Lottery Fund has launched a new £75 million fund to support young people in England. The Fulfilling Lives: Headstart fund will provide grants of £500,000 to £10 million to projects that equip young people to cope better with difficult circumstances in their lives, so prevent them from experiencing common mental health problems.
The focus is on helping adolescents and the funding will enable work in schools, youth clubs, and with families, community groups, and charities, to make sure that young people have a chance to benefit from all-round support.

The funding will be delivered in 12 areas to projects that establish cross sector partnerships aimed at helping young people, particularly those most at risk.
