Mentally Sound is a weekly radio show and podcast supported by MHNE and Launchpad around the subject of mental health. It features music and conversations with guests from varied backgrounds and organisations hosted on Spice FM 98.8 in Newcastle by Ricky Thamman.
Mentally Sound: Life in Lockdown runs each Tuesday from 1pm-2pm, then repeated Saturdays at 3pm. Over 50 Life in Lockdown shows have been recorded since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mentally Sound began as part of the Mental Health North East project "Service Users in Action", supported by Launchpad, and North East Together, and funded by Comic Relief. The show won a Mind Marsh Award for Excellence in Peer Support 2015, and was shortlisted for the National Service User Awards 2016.
