Partnership Working

MHNE has the ability to bring together our member organisations as bidding consortia or as coordinated groups around specific concerns.

MHNE has a grassroots approach to service delivery and can provide invaluable information to support intelligent and more efficient commissioning. As an example, several of our members undertake work supporting child protection and are in a position to be able to offer peer mentoring support. MHNE is considering ways of offering VCS peer support services.

MHNE publishes - fortnightly bulletins - up to date news, information, events, training, jobs, funding and tendering opportunities. To subscribe to our e-bulletin please click here.

It is recognised that a strong and vibrant mental health voluntary and community sector (VCS) is essential to the Health and Wellbeing agenda and delivering to changed Health and Social Care requirements. MHNE is significant in maintaining this by providing to the sector:

  • Up to the minute news, information and intelligence
  • Capacity and consortia building
  • Updating
  • Networking opportunities
  • Sharing of resources and good practice.
  • Access to public sector commissioners and policy maker
  • Troubleshooting
