NUS study: 1 in 10 students have considered suicide

The BBC has reported on a study which found 1 in 10 students have thought about taking their own life. The study of 1,200 young people was carried out by the National Union of Students (NUS).

It found that 1 in 10 students in Universities across the UK have considered taking their own life and 1 in 5 consider themselves to have mental health difficulties. 1 in 20 students also said they had anxiety due to bullying and 1 in 20 were said to have drug and alcohol issues.
