Take part in the Bupa Great North Run on behalf of Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland

Rape Crisis Tyneside and Northumberland are looking to hit their 2014 fundraising target of £2,000 and would like you to help achieve this by participating in the Bupa Great North Run on their behalf.

The ballot is now open and you'll know if you're successful by 5 February, which gives you seven months of training. To enter the ballot click here and follow the instructions.

All applicants will be required to submit payment details at the time of entering the ballot. Payment will only be taken if the entry application is successful.

Entry fee for 2014: £41.67 + £8.33 (VAT) - £50.00 total price

Prospective applicants are reminded to respect the challenge of long-distance running. Whilst it is an enjoyable route to fitness and well-being, it is also a significant physical challenge and if you have not exercised before or for some time, it is advisable to consult a doctor prior to undertaking an exercise programme.
